The 10E8 antibody and other reasons I hate Excel
Dear Microsoft,While I have, in the past submitted complaints to you directly, never having heard back, I am now submitting this set of woes for the enjoyment of the wider resource community.
Dates are terrible in Excel in general especially as MAC versions of dates are 4 years off from the PC versions, but Excel thinks that so many things are dates that it may actually cause me to visit Seattle to complain in person! I was trying to use ranges as part of a formula and labels like 1-10, 11-101 etc and amazingly there is no way to convince Excel that 1-10 is NOT A DATE! I had to use quotes, which removes my ability to use a formula and makes the label not as nice.
