Hot off the Press: Top 25 Databases of October!

Some surprising results this month for the top databases. Data, actually in its' relatively raw format seems to be crawling up the list for the first time. CRCNS, from UCBerkley, stores nervous system recording data, while Open fMRI and the IXI datasets store raw fMRI data. Some of our favorite sources such as integrated cell lines, animals, antibodies and plasmids are still on top, but it looks like raw unadulterated data is starting to get some attention.

Here is the full list:

1. NIF Registry
2. AntibodyRegistry
3. Human Brain Atlas
4. MGI Genotypes
5. Integrated Brain Connectivity
6. MGI Genotype Allele
7. Integrated Animals
8. Integrated Software
9. BrainInfo
10. ABCD:Brain Regions
11. Exon Array Browser
12. ABA Atlas of the developing human brain
13. AddGene Plasmids
14. CRCNS Model Data
15. NIF Neurons
16. HPO Annotations
17. Integrated Cell Lines
18. BioGrid Interactions
19. OpenfMRI
20. Odor Maps DB
21. Ensembl Human Genes
22. IXI MRI Dataset
