We will be hosting our next bi-weekly Webinar on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Details are as follows:

Please join us in a Connect Pro Meeting.

Meeting Name: Neuroscience Information Framework Webinar
Topic: Using the Neurolex Wiki:  how to contribute to the Neurolex
Summary: This webinar will provide an introduction to working with the Neurolex Wiki to build and enhance the Neurolex vocabulary.  The Neurolex is a lexicon of neuroscience-relevant concepts spanning the major domains of neuroscience that are used by the Neuroscience Information Framework (NIF) project for enhancing search and annotation of neuroscience resources.  The Neurolex uses the Semantic Media Wiki software, similar to that used by Wikipedia, to provide a convenient way for the community to contribute their expertise and content to the Neurolex.  In this webinar, we will introduce you to the organization of the Neurolex, the wiki tools for adding or changing content and some best practices for contributing expertise to the Neurolex.  Previous webinars that introduced the NIF, the Neurolex and other terminology tools used by the NIF are available here.  We hope you can join us.
