Data held in AADC data stores are qualified with metadata and discoverable through Catalogue of Australian Antarctic and Sub-antarctic Metadata (CAASM http://data.aad.gov.au/aadc/metadata) or through customized applications accessible via the website. All data is archived in AADC to permit its re-use. AADC has capability to create DOIs for datasets.
