High Throughput Genomic Sequences Division (RRID:SCR_002150) HTG Sequences, HTG Division data or information resource, data repository, database, service resource, storage service resource Database of high-throughput genome sequences from large-scale genome sequencing centers, including unfinished and finished sequences. It was created to accommodate a growing need to make unfinished genomic sequence data rapidly available to the scientific community in a coordinated effort among the International Nucleotide Sequence databases, DDBJ, EMBL, and GenBank. Sequences are prepared for submission by using NCBI's software tools Sequin or tbl2asn. Each center has an FTP directory into which new or updated sequence files are placed. Sequence data in this division are available for BLAST homology searches against either the htgs database or the month database, which includes all new submissions for the prior month. Unfinished HTG sequences containing contigs greater than 2 kb are assigned an accession number and deposited in the HTG division. A typical HTG record might consist of all the first-pass sequence data generated from a single cosmid, BAC, YAC, or P1 clone, which together make up more than 2 kb and contain one or more gaps. A single accession number is assigned to this collection of sequences, and each record includes a clear indication of the status (phase 1 or 2) plus a prominent warning that the sequence data are unfinished and may contain errors. The accession number does not change as sequence records are updated; only the most recent version of a HTG record remains in GenBank. gap, gene, accession, arabidopsis, bac, biological, c. elegans, clone, contig, cosmid, dna, genomic, high-throughput, homology, homo sapiens, invertebrate, nematode, nucleotide, p1, plant, primate, sequence, structure, taxonomy, yac, genome, sequence, nucleotide sequence, dna sequence, nucleotide, dna, gold standard is related to: GenBank

Macaque.org (RRID:SCR_002767) Macaque.org data or information resource, disease-related portal, laboratory portal, organization portal, portal, research forum portal, topical portal THIS RESOURCE IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE, documented May 10, 2017. A pilot effort that has developed a centralized, web-based biospecimen locator that presents biospecimens collected and stored at participating Arizona hospitals and biospecimen banks, which are available for acquisition and use by researchers. Researchers may use this site to browse, search and request biospecimens to use in qualified studies. The development of the ABL was guided by the Arizona Biospecimen Consortium (ABC), a consortium of hospitals and medical centers in the Phoenix area, and is now being piloted by this Consortium under the direction of ABRC. You may browse by type (cells, fluid, molecular, tissue) or disease. Common data elements decided by the ABC Standards Committee, based on data elements on the National Cancer Institute''s (NCI''s) Common Biorepository Model (CBM), are displayed. These describe the minimum set of data elements that the NCI determined were most important for a researcher to see about a biospecimen. The ABL currently does not display information on whether or not clinical data is available to accompany the biospecimens. However, a requester has the ability to solicit clinical data in the request. Once a request is approved, the biospecimen provider will contact the requester to discuss the request (and the requester''s questions) before finalizing the invoice and shipment. The ABL is available to the public to browse. In order to request biospecimens from the ABL, the researcher will be required to submit the requested required information. Upon submission of the information, shipment of the requested biospecimen(s) will be dependent on the scientific and institutional review approval. Account required. Registration is open to everyone.. Documented on June 8, 2020.Macaque genomic and proteomic resources and how they are providing important new dimensions to research using macaque models of infectious disease. The research encompasses a number of viruses that pose global threats to human health, including influenza, HIV, and SARS-associated coronavirus. By combining macaque infection models with gene expression and protein abundance profiling, they are uncovering exciting new insights into the multitude of molecular and cellular events that occur in response to virus infection. Mouse Biomedical Informatics Research Network (RRID:SCR_003392) MouseBIRN, mBIRN atlas, data or information resource, data set, reference atlas Animal model data primarily focused on mice including high resolution MRI, light and electron microscopic data from normal and genetically modified mice. It also has atlases, and the Mouse BIRN Atlasing Toolkit (MBAT) which provides a 3D visual interface to spatially registered distributed brain data acquired across scales. The goal of the Mouse BIRN is to help scientists utilize model organism databases for analyzing experimental data. Mouse BIRN has ended. The next phase of this project is the Mouse Connectome Project (https://www.nitrc.org/projects/mcp/). The Mouse BIRN testbeds initially focused on mouse models of neurodegenerative diseases. Mouse BIRN testbed partners provide multi-modal, multi-scale reference image data of the mouse brain as well as genetic and genomic information linking genotype and brain phenotype. Researchers across six groups are pooling and analyzing multi-scale structural and functional data and integrating it with genomic and gene expression data acquired from the mouse brain. These correlated multi-scale analyses of data are providing a comprehensive basis upon which to interpret signals from the whole brain relative to the tissue and cellular alterations characteristic of the modeled disorder. BIRN's infrastructure is providing the collaborative tools to enable researchers with unique expertise and knowledge of the mouse an opportunity to work together on research relevant to pre-clinical mouse models of neurological disease. The Mouse BIRN also maintains a collaborative Web Wiki, which contains announcements, an FAQ, and much more. electron microscopy, expression, functional, gene, 3-dimentional, brain, cellular, disorder, genomic, genotype, mouse, neurodegenerative disease, phenotype, molecular neuroanatomy resource, mri, light microscopy, model organism, gene expression, atlas data, imaging genomics, magnetic resonance is listed by: NeuroImaging Tools and Resources Collaboratory (NITRC)

The EGA''s role is to provide secure access to the data that otherwise could not be distributed to the research community. The EGA contains exclusive data collected from individuals whose consent agreements authorize data release only for specific research use or to bona fide researchers. Strict protocols govern how information is managed, stored and distributed by the EGA project. As an example, only members of the EGA team are allowed to process data in a secure computing facility. Once processed, all data are encrypted for dissemination and the encryption keys are delivered offline. The EGA also supports data access only for the consortium members prior to publication. phenomenon, trait, sequence, genotype, experiment, case-control, population, family study, snp, cnv, phenotype, genomic, gold standard, bio.tools is used by: Blueprint Epigenome

Ivy Glioblastoma Atlas Project (RRID:SCR_005044) Ivy GAP atlas, data or information resource, database, image collection Platform for exploring the anatomic and genetic basis of glioblastoma at the cellular and molecular levels that includes two interactive databases linked together by de-identified tumor specimen numbers to facilitate comparisons across data modalities: * The open public image database, here, providing in situ hybridization data mapping gene expression across the anatomic structures inherent in glioblastoma, as well as associated histological data suitable for neuropathological examination * A companion database (Ivy GAP Clinical and Genomic Database) offering detailed clinical, genomic, and expression array data sets that are designed to elucidate the pathways involved in glioblastoma development and progression. This database requires registration for access. The hope is that researchers all over the world will mine these data and identify trends, correlations, and interesting leads for further studies with significant translational and clinical outcomes. The Ivy Glioblastoma Atlas Project is a collaborative partnership between the Ben and Catherine Ivy Foundation, the Allen Institute for Brain Science and the Ben and Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment. glioblastoma, in situ hybridization, hematoxylin and eosin stain, brain, tumor, gene expression, anatomic structure, histology, clinical, genomic, expression array, gene, FASEB list has parent organization: Allen Institute for Brain Science Brain cancer, Cancer Ben and Catherine Ivy Foundation nlx_99161 SCR_005044 2026-09-05 06:25:28 158
