Description: Core facility that provides the following services: Protein separation service, 2D gel production, Analysis of protein distribution of 2D gel, Standardized imaging of 2D gel, Mass spectrometry analysis service, Desalting, Trypsin Digestion. The mission of the UCC Biomedical Proteomic Facility is to accelerate discovery by giving UCC investigators access to cutting edge mass spectrometry are rapidly advancing and requires considerable technical expertise and expensive equipments. To keep UCC scientists competitive, new technologies will be incorporated into the facility as soon as possible to meet the needs. The facility is open to all investigators on collaboration or a fee-for-service basis. User fees will be adjusted depending on demand and to keep costs competitive.
