INFO: CD38 exists as both a soluble and a cell surface molecule, and possesses enzymatic activity in both normal and pathologic states. CD31 (PECAM-1) is the natural ligand for CD38. CD38 is a naïve B cell marker and is re-expressed late in plasma cell differentiation.
