Proper Citation: GeneTex Cat# GTX88290, RRID:AB_10724984
Target Antigen: SATB1 antibody
Host Organism: goat
Clonality: polyclonal
Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: ELISA; Western Blot; ELISA, Western Blot. Experiments gave bands at approx. 110kDa and 85kDa in lysates of cell line MOLT4 after 0.3µg/ml antibody staining. The observed 110kDa band corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (De Belle et al, J Cell Biol. 1998 Apr 20;141(2):335-48.; PMID: 9548713). This protein has a calculated MW of 86.0kDa according to NP_002962.1. Recommended concentration: 0.3-1µg/ml. Reported variants NP_001124482.1 and NP_002962.1 represent identical protein.

dkNET can assist you in preparing authentication plans for antibodies to comply with the NIH Submission Policy. The information can be used while planning your experiments or submitting grant applications. The authentication plan for antibodies is based on methods suggested in "A proposal for validation of antibodies" (Uhlen M et. al., 2016), the guideline published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology (Saper C, 2005)(2), and the example " Authentication of of Key Biological and/or Chemical Resources "(Bandrowski A). For best practices for authenticating antibodies, check our Authentication Reports services.
