Proper Citation: GeneTex Cat# GTX89801, RRID:AB_10723699
Target Antigen: E2-EPF / UBE2S antibody
Host Organism: goat
Clonality: polyclonal
Comments: Discontinued; manufacturer recommendations: ELISA; ELISA. Approx. 35-40kDa band observed in Human Liver lysate at 1ug of primary, this band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. Please note that the band we observe is different from the predicted size of approx. 25kDa according to NP_055316. Currently we cannot find an explanation for this in the literature. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any splice variants/modified forms been reported?

dkNET can assist you in preparing authentication plans for antibodies to comply with the NIH Submission Policy. The information can be used while planning your experiments or submitting grant applications. The authentication plan for antibodies is based on methods suggested in "A proposal for validation of antibodies" (Uhlen M et. al., 2016), the guideline published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology (Saper C, 2005)(2), and the example " Authentication of of Key Biological and/or Chemical Resources "(Bandrowski A). For best practices for authenticating antibodies, check our Authentication Reports services.
