SgII (residues 568–583; YLNQEQAEQGREHLAK). The antigen emulsified with an equal volume of TiterMax (CytRx; Norcross, GA) was injected SC to rabbits six times at 2-week intervals. The rabbits were bled 7 days after the sixth injection, and specificities of the antisera were checked with immunoblotting analyses (see Results)."
