Proper Citation: Biosensis Cat# C-1521-500, RRID:AB_2492355
Target Antigen: Mixture of synthetic peptide (14-26 aa) of Mouse Green cones Opsin 1 and synthetic peptide (18-30 aa) of Tiger finch red cones opsin 1 was used as immunogen.
Host Organism: chicken
Clonality: unknown
Comments: WB. Suggested dilution at 1:500 to 1:2,000. The antibody recognizes a band of approximately 37 kD on mouse brain lysate. To minimise background staining, a higher concentration of detergent (such as Tween-20) is suggested in the dilution and washing steps. Biosensis recommends that the optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.

dkNET can assist you in preparing authentication plans for antibodies to comply with the NIH Submission Policy. The information can be used while planning your experiments or submitting grant applications. The authentication plan for antibodies is based on methods suggested in "A proposal for validation of antibodies" (Uhlen M et. al., 2016), the guideline published in the Journal of Comparative Neurology (Saper C, 2005)(2), and the example " Authentication of of Key Biological and/or Chemical Resources "(Bandrowski A). For best practices for authenticating antibodies, check our Authentication Reports services.
