PubMed Health offers up-to-date information on diseases, conditions, drugs, treatment options, and healthy living, with a special focus on comparative effectiveness research from institutions around the world.
Currently, NIF indexes two data sets from PubMedHealth; 1) PubMedHealth: Drugs & 2) PubMedHealth:Tests.
If your interest is in a particular medication, you can search NIF for that drug. In the example below, we search for clozapine.
Results for PubMedHealth: Drugs can be found under;
Data Federation > Data Type > Drugs
Within the PubMedHealth: Drugs results set, the following information can be found: Name, Title (which contains questions relating to the proper usage of the drug) and Text (which contains the answer to the question within the Title Column).
Clicking the drug name will take you to the PubMedHealth page for that medication, providing more related information.
If your interest is in a particular medical procedure, you can search NIF for that test. In the example below, we search for MRI.
Results for PubMedHealth: Tests can be found under;
Data Federation > Data Type > Disease
Within the PubMedHealth: Test search results the following information can be found: Test Name, Test Description, Title, (which contains questions related to each medical procedure) and Text (which contains the answer to the questions within the Title Column).
Clicking the test name will take you to the PubMedHealth page for that procedure, providing more related information.
