An Alphabetic List of Genetic Analysis Software contains a listing of software on the following topics: genetic linkage analysis for human pedigree data, QTL analysis for animal/plant breeding data, genetic marker ordering, genetic association analysis, haplotype construction, pedigree drawing, and population genetics. This list is offered here as a service to the gene mapping community. The inclusion of a program should not be interpreted as an endorsement to that program from us.

To find any software tool one can search for the word software. Below we search for pedigree software.

The Genetic analysis software list can be found in the Software tab and shows a listing of all of the software tools that match the particular query.

Clicking on any Software Name (first column) should take the user to the particular page listed as the home for the tool. NIF does not maintain the individual pages so the links may be broken from time to time. Please report any problems to us and we will try to either find the tool or remove the broken link.

In the case of PedAgree (and most sites) the owner maintains the tool on the universities site where a full tool description, instructions, examples and downloads are available.
